It's chillier than it was several hours ago. The grass on the ground seems to sigh as it sags under the weight of ice crystals. The cold spreads on and leaves patterns for every surface, dancing up windows and clinging to lamp posts. Parents bundle up their children and when they complain they say, "We don't want Jack Frost nipping at your nose now do we?" A common saying across the world, sure. A fairy tale, to some. But every tale-- every story has some truth to it.


For 318 years Jack Frost has brought winter to places in the world. The spirit finds joy in bringing snow days that result in children cheering and spending hours in the cold with their friends. It was a lonely existence; being unseen and unheard by those who celebrated his gifts weighed on him-- but that is no more. Jack now has the honor of being a Guardian, a spirit meant to protect the children of the world, and that comes with many benefits and responsibilities. But if there is one thing this wintery one knows it's that there is always time for fun.
